Well it was that time of the year again..............
A night where roses are common sight while walking down the streets, public display of affection aplenty (gag-foam-at-the-mouth) and very broke-looking males...........
AND IT'S VALERIE'S BIRTHDAY (the only reason I would venture out on a day I strain my eyeball muscles from rolling my eyes too much)!!!
Being hip and trendy, Dempsey Road was the place to be.... (of course that meant that there were couples aplenty as well.... oh well you win some you lose some)
We went to P.S Cafe - lovely, LOVELY place ( = alot, alot of couples *roll eyes*)
The gang - me, janelle, valerie (bday girl) and desiree

My main - mushroom and olive linguini *lick lips* - I will definitely be back to for this dish again... The mushroom was FANTASTIC....
Janelle's main - some pie that I can't remember the name lol... Love the pastry but the mash potato was only average
Val's main - steak (the exact name of the dish I don't remember as well *sheepish*)
The steak was very nicely done, succulent and tender *yum*
Valerie's boyfriend wanted to surprise the birthday girl with a cake, so we allowed him to come later - AFTER we were more or less done lol...
The poor dude first got lost, was all sweaty from trying to find the cafe.....
Then when he finally walked in with the cake, his thunder got stole because some guy just proposed to his girlfriend at another table near the door.... lol
Well it's the thought that counts yar.......
